• Birth Details: Date, time, and place of birth that you voluntarily enter to generate your chart. This data is stored in your browser's local storage by default.
• Google Account Info (optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, we store your name, email, and profile picture to manage your account.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics such as page views and feature usage to improve our service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate your Vedic birth chart using Swiss Ephemeris calculations.
• To provide AI-powered astrological interpretations via Mistral AI.
• To save your birth details to your account (only if you sign in).
• To improve our services and user experience.

3. Data Storage

Local Storage: By default, your birth chart data and chat history are stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in.

Server Storage: If you create an account via Google Sign-In, your birth details are encrypted and stored securely on our server. You can delete this data at any time from your account page.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Identity Services: For optional sign-in functionality. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Mistral AI: For generating astrological interpretations. Your chart data is sent to Mistral's API for processing. No personally identifiable information is sent.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your birth details or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers.

6. Cookies

YuktiAstro does not use tracking cookies. We use browser local storage to save your preferences and chart data for your convenience.

7. Children's Privacy

YuktiAstro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your stored data
• Delete your birth details
• Delete your entire account and all associated data
• Use the service without creating an account
